about

A suite for organ, cello, bass clarinet and strings.
Originally released on Warner Classics UK in 2005.

"The heart has its reasons of which reason knows nothing" Blaise Pascal

Blaise Pascal was a 17th century mathematician and physicist. In honour of his many scientific contributions the name pascal has been given to a unit of pressure and a computer programming language.

Following a near-death experience in 1654, Pascal abandoned his pursuits of mathematics and physics and turned to the heartfelt study of philosophy and theology. We dedicate this album to his brave choice.
